When Function18 approached me in 2013, they were already running a busy website on the Magento platform and were looking for someone who could provide reliable ad-hoc support.
Ongoing development and continuous improvement supported rapid growth for Function18, culminating in a complete front-end overhaul towards the end of 2016. The site features a long list of usability enhancements, highlights including personalised recommendations, lookbooks and a quickshop feature. I continue to work closely with Function18's in-house design and marketing team to provide ongoing development and support.
Established in 1999, Note has grown to become one of the UK's leading skateboard retail brands. Note required a robust ecommerce platform to allow them to realise their bricks and mortar retail success on the web.
Following the original Magento build in 2012, I have worked closely with Note to identify opportunities to improve the site on an ongoing basis. The site has seen a rapid increase in sales over the last 5 years and was recently updated with a completely new front-end. The responsive Magento front-end includes a number of custom modules providing advanced search functionality, an Instore Checkout and Apple Pay integration. Further improvements were made to the Magento Admin in order to improve fulfilment and reporting.
