Fun fact: while doing my own study for the Magento Professional Developer Certification exam I checked my own Magento 2 FE course on LinkedIn learning to find out that it has been watched more then 4100 times and received almost 250 likes. I don't whether that's a good or bad score, but anyhow... I like it!

Magento 2 is not just the next version of Magento 1, it is a completely new framework. It introduces a bunch of new libraries and approaches, with more opportunities to implement functionality better.

A lot of us fall into the river of our careers and let the current take us where it goes, like a dead fallen leaf. Rather than swim in the most prosperous or desired direction, like a trout.
