Minnetonka Moccasin's high monthly sales volume of clothing items necessitated a returns and exchanges system more robust that Magento's native capabilities, accounting for live credit card refunds, partial or full store credit payments, discount promotions, and chains of multiple exchanges related to the same original order. I was the chief architect and a primary developer of a returns and exchanges module that allowed for complex tracking, equivalent exchange selection, dynamic calculation of owed refunds, and an easy interface for warehouse workers processing returns.
